Dominic is an entrepreneur who first made a name for himself as a pioneer in the inkjet cartridge business. After helping to develop key intellectual property involving a novel refilling process, he expanded his family’s business until it was acquired in 2007 by the world’s largest aftermarket inkjet and toner company. He went on to broker the rescue and sale of a $14 million PayPal competitor before founding Yellow Line Studio, an independent film production company in San Diego. In addition to helming that operation, Dominic serves as a university administrator and faculty member, and works as Entrepreneur In Residence at San Diego’s CONNECT, helping young entrepreneurs build their companies. He and his wife, Kate, are currently raising their family in San Diego.
Matt brings several years of professional graphics design experience to Creative Rhetoric, having worked multiple freelance assigments in the education, entertainment and youth markets as well as on corporate projects. Matt's also an accomplished writer, with experience as Executive Producer and Head Writer on the groundbreaking web series BUMP+, a project covered nationally by the likes of FOX News and the Washington Post while on its way to 125,000+ episode views and thousands of viewer comments. Matt's also seen two of his graphic novels published by Atiqtuq and was hired by private investors to write a feature-length thriller about a heist of the Shroud of Turin. He earned his MBA in Film & Television Producing after receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Communications & Entertainment Summa Cum Laude.
Dan has an extensive media background spanning the better part of a decade. From large studio productions such as The Pursuit of Happiness and television work on Monk and the History Channel to dozens of independent productions, Dan has been involved with media creation on both sides of the camera. He has experience overseeing diverse team sizes and budgets towards creative and compelling results. As the Project manager of Creative Rhetoric, he enjoys the opportunity to use that experience to positively impact culture in new and exciting ways.
Patrick earned his BS in Multimedia Production from Lewis University in IL and is now working on his MBA in Film Producing at John Paul the Great in San Diego. He is an experienced motion graphic artist with multiple Creative Rhetoric projects under his belt, as well as a few projects for JPCU Admissions. In addition to motion and editing Patrick is a filmmaker. He has experience on various short projects as well as a camera operator credit on the feature film Red Line.
Trae is a young, multi-talented artist who is passionate about utilizing narrative media to impact society. He has collaborated with multiple youth, educational and communications media organizations as a designer and motion graphics artist.
John-Henry has an associates degree in Occupational Studies and a certificate in Digital Video Production. He’s currently studying at John Paul the Great Catholic University. He was previously an editor’s assistant at Eyeworks Studios in Michigan and has done various freelance work. At Creative Rhetoric, John-Henry is currently working on developing several new business strategies to move the company into the future.
Alec Calzada is currently studying business at John Paul the Great Catholic University, where he is the elected student treasurer and student liaison. At Creative Rhetoric, he’s currently working on new marketing strategies and helping to develop new business models. In addition to this work, Alec is the CFO of Mysterious Island Entertainment, a small animation startup company.
